The beach is very clean and the sea is shallow and has the clearest water that I have ever seen.
Massimo and Amandine were quick to respond to queries and were very helpful in accommodating us. The villa is off a gated track that leads to the beach. There are a LOT of steps up to the villa, but the view from the villa is well worth it. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the villa and there are 4 sun loungers and an umbrella at the beach for the villa guests. The beach is very clean and the sea is shallow and has the clearest water that I have ever seen. There is a beach cafe that serves basic food with a smarter restaurant further along. The villa has two comfortable en-suite king sized rooms, and a further king size room and single room that share a bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with a BBQ just outside. The living area has a table that would comfortably seat 6. The outside terrace is not spacious, but has a table comfortably seating 8, 4 chairs for sundowners with the best view and 4 sun loungers. The pool is more of a plunge pool, but we really appreciated that it was heated in October. The villa has just been renovated, and everything has been done to a high standard with attractive, comfortable furnishings. The WIFI was very weak, so we used personal hotspots using our data from our mobile providers which worked well for everything, including streaming TV. The Mistral wind blew for 5 days which made the afternoons a bit chilly and too cold for us to eat outside on those days, and two days of our six day trip were overcast, but the other four days were bright and sunny and we even swam in the sea – in OCTOBER?!
had an amazing stay in Villa Mannus !
We were a group of eight adults (4 female/4 male) and had an amazing stay in Villa Mannus, which only was renovated recenty and therefor everything looks new and noble. The villa is located on a small hill (about 4-5 min from the beach by foot). You reach the villa by a few stairs which is a bit exhausting but you get rewarded by the most beautiful view over the sea, the lake and also the mainland (with amazing sunsets). The villa has 3 double bed rooms and 1 room with a single bed (where one extra singlebed can be pulled-out so it is actually another double bed room). One more room with two bds (equipped with a bunkbed) lays on another floor than the others. You can only reach it from outside (by the stairs). We did not use that as we had enough space in the main house. There are three bathrooms with either shower or bathtube and another separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with more than enough tools so you can easily cook by yourself and enjoy dinner on the large terrace (there also is a fireplace to have a barbecue). The pool is not too large but has enough space to just relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. The pool is heated so it can be used in the evening as well. What was really nice was the service on the beach. There is a section on the beach, where not many people are and you get 4 sunbeds and two umbrellas right on the beach (they actually bring everything to the spot you wish). We also visited other beaches, but “Porto Giunco” was by far the most beautiful. Our host, Massimo, was seriously the best. He provided us not only with information about local sights but also was there for us if we had any other questions (he even provided us with contact details so we could arrange a boat trip to other bays etc.). As we don’t speak Italian very well, it was very comfortable for us that Massimo is fluent in English. We for sure will come back to this amazing place and already miss the view over the turquoise blue sea and the white beaches. Grazie mille Massimo!

« Era splendido fare colazione tutti insieme nel giardino ricco di profumatissime piante prima di scendere in spiaggia. Anche il nostro Cavalier King ha gradito…
L’aperitivo a bordo piscina poi, con vista su quel mare meraviglioso, era il momento della giornata che preferivo: impagabile!
Ottima posizione per isolarsi dal caos dei villeggianti rimanendo comunque vicini al centro di Villasimius.
L’accesso diretto alla spiaggia, con sdraio e ombrellone inclusi, è sicuramente un valore aggiunto, così come il personale efficiente e la possibilità di richiedere il servizio di pulizia supplementare a pagamento.
